Persichelli Overlooks NDP Alternative

Angelo Persichilli lays out a fine analysis of why Canadians are disgusted with what’s happening with our federal politics, but there is one logical point missing from his conclusion. He argues that the Liberal and Conservative parties are basically dysfunctional and that things will improve only if one of them makes the necessary changes. Earlier in his article, Persichelli admitted that the NDP was doing all the right things and had a good leader. Why, then, can he not come out and say that maybe the answer to Canada’s federal dilemma lies in electing a lot more NDP candidates?
